Frequently Asked Questions
Go to your account and open Sessions. You will see every device currently signed
in, with:
- Device — what it was signed in from
- IP address — the address that session is using
- Last active — how long ago it was used
- Created — when the sign-in happened
It is the quickest way to confirm that only you have access.
On the Sessions page, find the one you want to end and click Terminate. You will be
asked to confirm, and the device is signed out straight away.
If it was not you, terminate it, then change your password and turn on two-factor
authentication — ending the session alone does not stop whoever it was signing in again.
Yes. Terminate All Other Sessions ends every session except the one you are using,
so you stay signed in where you are. It is the right move if you think your account has
been compromised, or after using a shared or public computer. You will need to sign in
again on your other devices.
Three reasons: to spot a sign-in you do not recognise, to clear out devices you no
longer use — an old phone, a work laptop, a library computer — and to know where you
are actually signed in.
Anything unfamiliar is worth acting on immediately: terminate it, change your password,
and enable two-factor authentication.
