Frequently Asked Questions

Go to Dashboard > Events and click New Event. Fill in the event name,
date, venue, location, and description. Save the event as a draft, then add ticket
types before activating it for public sale.

Yes! On the event list or event detail page, click Duplicate. This creates a
copy with all ticket types preserved. The duplicate starts as inactive so you can
update the date and details before activating it.

On the event edit form, select the time zone from the dropdown. If not set, the
event uses your account's default time zone. Event times are displayed in the
event's local time zone on all public pages.

Go to the event detail page and click Deactivate. This removes the event from
public listings but preserves all data. You can reactivate it later. Deactivated
events are still visible in your dashboard with an "Inactive" badge.

Yes! Each ticket type can have its own sale window. Edit the ticket type and enable
Time-Based Sales, then set the start and end dates. For example, create an
"Early Bird" ticket that sells from now until two weeks before the event, and a
"Last Minute" ticket that opens the day before.

Edit any ticket type and set the Limit Per Sale field. For example, setting
it to 4 prevents any single order from purchasing more than 4 of that ticket type.
Set to 0 for no limit.

Go to the ticket type detail page and use the Generate Stubs form. Enter the
quantity and click Generate Stubs. These stubs are created in a "Generated"
state with valid QR codes that can be scanned at check-in. You can also comp
individual stubs from the stubs list.

Yes! Use the Box Office interface to sell walk-up tickets. Customers can view
events and select tickets from the public event pages. If you have a card reader
registered, you can also use the Storefront POS for card-present transactions.

A settlement report is a financial summary showing how event revenue is distributed
between your organization and the performing artist. There are three types:

  • Guarantee: A fixed payment to the artist regardless of sales
  • Door Split: Revenue divided by percentage (e.g., 70/30)
  • Hybrid: The greater of a guarantee or a percentage split

Configure settlement type on the event edit page. Reports can be exported as CSV
or emailed directly to the artist's agent.

Go to Dashboard > Events > select your event > Check In. Enter or scan
the ticket's QR code. The system instantly shows whether the ticket is valid,
already used, or voided. Confirmed check-ins are timestamped and tracked by ticket
type with live statistics.

Reconciliation compares your expected sales (from your dashboard) against what your
payment processor actually collected. Go to Dashboard > Reconciliations to
view completed runs, discrepancy amounts, and cash vs. card breakdowns. This helps
ensure no transactions were missed or duplicated.

Create discount codes from the event's Discounts tab. You can set percentage
or fixed-amount discounts with optional usage limits and expiration dates. Customers
enter the code on the ticket purchase page to apply the discount. Codes can be
restricted to specific ticket types.
