Adding Parking or Other Add-Ons to an Existing Order

Category: Tickets | Last updated: September 28, 2026

How event add-ons like parking, camping or a meet & greet work, why some of them need a ticket, and how to add one to an order you already placed.

Adding Parking or Other Add-Ons to an Existing Order

Some events sell add-ons beside their tickets — a parking pass, a camping spot,
a meet & greet. They appear under their own Add-ons heading when you buy tickets.

Add-ons are not tickets

An add-on gets you the thing it names. It does not get you through the door, and
it is not a seat. Your confirmation email lists add-ons separately from your tickets
and marks them "not valid for entry", so you always know which is which.

Present an add-on wherever it is redeemed — at the car park, at the campsite — not at
the main entrance.

Why some add-ons need a ticket

If an organizer has marked an add-on as requiring admission, you will see
"Requires an admission ticket for this event" beside it. Parking for a show you
are not attending is rarely what anyone means to buy, so we ask for the ticket.

You can satisfy that in any of three ways:

Not every add-on is restricted. An organizer can sell one with no ticket required,
and then it can be bought by itself.

Adding one to an order you already placed

Bought your tickets and only later remembered the parking? You do not need to buy a
second ticket.

If you have an account

  1. Go to Account > Orders
  2. Open the order with your tickets
  3. Find Add to this order — it lists the add-ons still available for that event
  4. Click Add to this order beside the one you want
  5. Complete checkout

If you checked out as a guest

Use the order-tracking link in your confirmation email. The same Add to this order
section appears there, and the link is all the proof of purchase we need.

What happens to your original order

Nothing. The add-on is billed as a separate order with its own order number and
its own confirmation email — which names your original order, so the two are easy to
match up. Your first order is never re-charged or altered.

Refunds

Refunding a ticket does not automatically refund an add-on that was bought with
it. They are separate purchases, and you may still want the parking. If you want an
add-on refunded too, ask the event organizer.
