Shopping Cart Guide
Your shopping cart is unified across all purchases—products, event tickets, and donations can all be purchased together in a single checkout.
Viewing Your Cart
Click the cart icon in the header to see your current items. The icon shows a badge with the number of items in your cart.
Adding Items
Adding Products
From any product page:
- Select a variant (if the product has multiple options)
- Choose your quantity using the dropdown
- Click Add to Cart
- You'll see a confirmation message and the cart icon will update
Adding Event Tickets
From any event page:
- Browse to the event details
- Select ticket types and quantities
- Click Add to Cart
- Tickets appear in your cart alongside any products
Unified Cart Layout
Your cart is organized into sections:
- Products: Physical and digital items from the store
- Event Tickets: Tickets for upcoming events with dates and venues
- Donations: Any donations you've added
All items are purchased together in a single checkout for convenience.
Adding a Donation
If the organization accepts donations, you'll see an "Add a Donation" section in your cart:
- Enter the amount you want to give — it is a free amount, not a fixed list
- Optionally choose to cover the processing fees, so the full amount reaches them
- Add it to your cart, and it checks out with everything else
Managing Cart Items
Updating Quantities
On the cart page, change the number next to an item. It saves by itself a moment later and the totals recalculate — there is no separate update button.
Removing Items
Click the remove button (X) next to any item to remove it from your cart. The cart will update automatically.
Discount Codes
To apply a discount code:
- Look for "Have a discount code?" on the cart page
- Enter your code in the field
- Click Apply
- The discount will appear in your order summary
Discount codes can apply to products and/or tickets depending on how the organization configured them. Invalid or expired codes will show an error message.
Order Summary
The order summary shows:
- Subtotal: Total before discounts and fees
- Fees: Service fees for event tickets (if applicable)
- Discount: Amount saved from discount codes
- Shipping: Calculated at checkout (physical products only)
- Tax: Calculated based on your location
- Total: Final amount you'll pay
Proceeding to Checkout
When you're ready, click the Checkout button. You'll be taken to secure checkout where you'll enter:
- Shipping address (for physical products)
- Payment information
- Order review and confirmation
Cart Expiration
Cart items are held for 30 minutes during active shopping. If inventory is limited and you don't complete checkout, items may become unavailable. Complete your purchase promptly for in-demand products and popular events.
Continue Shopping
Click Continue Shopping to browse more products, or Browse Events to find upcoming events—all while keeping your current cart items.
